Marais quits Rafters for Hollywood

Beautiful Packed to the Rafters star Jessica Marais has left the popular series to try her luck in Hollywood, making her the third lead actress to leave the show in less than a year.

Her on-screen and off-screen boyfriend James Stewart is staying in Sydney and has no immediate plans to follow her over seas… could cause some tension?

Marais' character Rachel Rafter will be on Aussie TV screens until June before the storyline explains her departure… but producers say she won’t be killed off.
