Lohan accused of stealing jewellery, could face more jail time.

This time she’s been quizzed about the disappearance of an expensive necklace from an LA boutique.

The actress is at the centre of a police investigation over a one-of-a-kind piece after she tried it on at a jewellery store and was snapped wearing it out and about a week later.

But cops called off the hunt for the jewellery at Lohan's home on Tuesday when one of her staff turned the necklace over to authorities.

Lohan claims she didn’t steal it, rather it was loaned to her and a stylist simply forgot to return it on time.  As if Linds would ever admit something could possibly be HER fault.

If the District Attorney decides to take up the issue, she could face felony theft charges and the possibility of more time behind bars.
