Cut Copy new headliners at Playground Weekender

Whooo! Cut Copy have been unveiled as the replacement headliners for this year's Playground Weekender festival in New South Wales.

The Melbourne synth-pop act, whose third album Zonoscope is out TODAY, will fill the gap left by English indie rockers Doves.

The Doves bailed due to a ‘matter with the band’.

The band has been working on theatical set designs based on David Bowie's Young Americans tour in the '70s, so it should be an amazing gig.

Cut Copy will debut the shows at the Laneway festival which kicks off in Brisi on Friday night.
